Your dog did not do well with sheep? Try Ducks!
Fee is $40 per dog - NO prior exposure to sheep is necessary for instinct test
An extra $2 fee will be charged for non PWCCA members for the Sanctioned Instinct Test.
Pembroke Welsh Corgis will be given first preference for entries, but other breeds will be accepted until limit of 30 dogs is filled
Our herding instinct evaluator will be Kelly Malone. She will take your dog into the arena and will give your dog 5 to 15 minutes to see if he/she has herding instinct. Those with herding experience may handle their own dogs in the arena. All passing PWC will receive a lovely certificate from the PWCCA and the right to put the letters PHC after their dog's name. This title is a Parent Club title, not an AKC/AHBA title.
Those with previous exposure to sheep may have a short lesson with Kelly Malone.
Club members are asked to bring a pot luck to share. Please bring your own chairs.
